There are many recording studios in our region, but this one is widely considered the best!! Designed by the renowned recording studio architect John Storyk, this studio was built by the current owners in 1980 and is still being utilized as a Professional Recording Studio. The facility was constructed using very unique construction techniques, and it's high mass and insulated design keeps the sound inside and outside sounds out. The Master Studio and Control Room have amazing acoustics. They are comfortable and attractive highlighted by the rich mahogany wood, and the visible ceiling in the studio is three curved "clouds" suspended from the actual 17' ceiling. The studio and control room each have their own cooling and heating systems and special sound absorbing air ducts. The office section has three levels. The main entrance leads to a waiting lounge; two offices and three smaller offices. A few steps down, there is a lounge/recording lab, office and other supporting rooms. The upper floors include a conference room/music suite and a large "L" shaped office. The original part of the structure is a small residence and has had many other uses over time. This professional studio is a superlative recording facility for any audio application with terrific accessibility to highways and the Akron Canton airport.
