Originally called New Berlin, the city changed its name to North Canton in January, 1962. Rich with culture, art and history, you’ll find this quaint town has a wonderful sense of community. North Canton was home to the Hoover Company for 98 years. The first Hoover vacuum cleaner was manufactured here. Now you can visit the Hoover Historical Center to see where it all started!
